Drive It Day 2026

Join us for national Drive It Day. An annual event organised by the FBHVC to help raise money for the NSPCC Childline charity.

Entry is via the purchase of a “rally plate” which is displayed on your car for the event. Clubs and individuals from all over the UK take part in this fundraising effort.

This will be our second year participating in the event as a club and we plan to make another great day of it.

Itinerary –

10:00 – Meet at The Carding Shed, Washpit Mills, Holmfirth. HD9 2RD – Breakfast and issue of rally plates.

10:45 – Participants assemble for departure

11:00 – Leave The Carding Shed to commence our route of around 100 miles of mainly country roads.

14:30 – 15:00 – Arrive in Staithes for late lunch (Venue TBC)

17:00 – Drivers depart for home. Optional drive to Whitby for those wishing to extend the day.

Rally plates come in 2 sizes and have 2 donation amounts. Small plates are 150mm x 75mm and Regular plates are 290mm x 145mm Normal donation is £12.50 and the platinum donation plate is £30.00

Final date to purchase plates via the club is midnight Friday the 11th April 2025
